Soroptimist International of Whittier
Youth Forums  are   Soroptimist   sponsored  youth gatherings.
Their purpose is to give an opportunity for young people to meet,
discuss and stimulate  awareness  of problems  that  concern  all
people.  The goal of the Forum is  to  make   suggestions   and
recommend   solutions.  Participants  should  be  knowledgeable,
motivated, able to identify needs and problems and respond with
solutions.

Youth Forum 2006 presented an impressive slate of 25 community
members as facilitators and judges. The event was well attended by
over 100 high school participants.
